The Student Council has developed the following acceptable guidelines for attire:
- Must be consistently applied and enforced
- All attire must be in good taste, clean, non-offensive, and non-distracting
- No halter tops are permitted
- Shirts will have sleeves and/or straps no less than 2” wide
- No clothes that expose undergarments or have excessive holes are permitted
- Bare midriffs are not permitted
- No shorts that are shorter than mid-thigh may be worn
- No skirts that are shorter than an extended arm measured to the fingertips are permitted
- Clothing that excessively exposes the body and is visible through leggings or yoga pants will not be permitted unless covered by another pair of acceptable shorts
- Hats and headgear are not permitted unless worn for medical or religious reasons
- No sleepwear or pajamas are allowed
- No offensive garments that promote:
- Drugs, alcohol, or tobacco
- Obscenities
- Nudity
- Sex
- Violence
The dress code will be consistently applied and enforced. The Student Code of Conduct procedures will be implemented for dress code violations. Any article in violation must be changed immediately. Items that violate the dress code will not be permitted in yearbook photos.
